Antonio Conte changed the culture and the mentality of Inter Milan as the glory days could be on their way back. However, in a stern test against the league champions, this was one of the biggest matches of the campaign so far this season. Juventus had the opportunity to leapFrog Inter Milan to go to the top of the table. It was an opportunity for Inter Milan to prove that they offer real. Despite being perfect without a loss this season in the league they haven’t faced a challenge like this. Last weekend was further proof that Juventus Remain the dominant force in Italian football. Paulo Dybala a player who has struggled to get into the first-team over the last year-and-a-half was finally given the opportunity in the biggest match of the season. Juventus were the better team throughout this match even though Inter Milan had their moments it was an incredibly tough environment between two teams who just didn’t want to lose Inter Milan just a little while after the opening goal was given a penalty after a handball in the box. Lataro Martinez converted the penalty to equalize making the match 1-1 after 20 minutes. Chances and opportunities came from both teams throughout the match but they could not break through after the opening 45 minutes. In the second half, it appeared Cristiano Ronaldo had made the Breakthrough striking the back of the net to give Juventus the least but unfortunately he was called offsides taking away the goal. It continued to be a back-and-forth battle but Juventus certainly had all the momentum even though Inter Milan have their moments Juventus made it count when it mattered. AC Milan 2 Genoa 1FT

AC Milan it’s in a very difficult situation right now the start of the season has not gone the way they would have liked. There was a reasonable expectation of this team after the many signings they made prior to the season. They made A change at the manager and let some players go. Marco Giampaolo was perhaps playing for his job as his seat was getting hotter by the day. AC Milan went on the road to Genoa last weekend to try to get their season back on the right track. They came into this game following losses to Florentina, Torino and Inter Milan in the derby. This was the opportunity to start to get things back on the right track it was an absolute Bloodbath at the Luigi Ferrari. Both AC Milan and Genoa have struggled this season both have been very deep in the bottom half of the table. There was an opportunity in this match for somebody. Right before halftime, Genoa put themselves in front as Lasse Schone beat Pepe Reina on a free-kick to give a Genoa the 1-0 lead. The heat on the seat of Marco Giampaolo was seemingly going to increase after finding themselves behind yet again. Near the end of the first half, Riccardo Saponara was shown a straight red card as Genoa was reduced to 10 men. Early in the second half AC Milan got back into the match as Theo Hernandez cut through space scoring at a tight angle to equalize. A little while later genoa was shown another red card reducing Genia even further as they were down to nine men. Then again in stoppage-time, AC Milan was shown another red card on the 4th of the match. Genoa what would have a late chance at a point from the penalty spot but Pepe Reina made the save as AC Milan and get back on the right track with a big three points. Roma 1 Cagliari 1FT

Roma came into this game yesterday off a draw in the Europa League that was somewhat viewed as a disappointment and they won away last weekend. As Roma was trying to recapture some form as Cagliari took a trip to the Olimpico to take on Roma. During last season Roma ended up winning the season series. This Roma team is in somewhat of a crisis with the injured problems after seeing Lorenzo Pellegrini and Hendrik Mikatarian add to the injury concerns. None the less Roma had a team good enough to take down a strong Cagliari side who was found some encouragement in the early part of the season it was the last match before the International break which could hugely impact momentum going forward. This also was a reunion as former Roma players Nainggolan Luca Pellegrini and Robin Olsen we’re on the other side. It turned out to be a game of absolute Madness. The game opened up very early when Roma conceded a penalty after a Mancini handball in the Box. Lucas Castro converted to give Cagliari the 1-0 lead. Roma had a tragic moment shortly after. New signing Adamu Diawara had to come off after an apparent knee injury he was taken off by the stretcher and rushed to Roma’s Hospital. He was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and thankfully avoided an ACL tear which would have kept him out for the entire season. After the injury, Roma equalized as Justin kluivert set up Edin Dzeko in the box but unfortunately, the Cagliari Defender put the ball in the back of the net to equalize. Roma dominated & had control for the majority of the match. They created a lot of chances but again struggled to convert in front of goal in the second half the game opened up even more aggressively as time and time again Roma came forward but Robin Olsen was on his day Making some saves in crucial moments. Roma’s lack of ability to finish is on a goal was the glaring issue as Roma got into position on an almost regular basis. It looked like we were heading for a draw but for a moment it appeared Roma was going to steal one. It was an unencouraging performance by Roma but they did what they needed to pull in front as Kalinic came off the bench and scored what everyone thought would have been the winning goal. It was erased by the VAR which angered Paulo Fonseca. He was seemingly thrown out of the game. the Portuguese manager was absolutely furious after the referee had told the Caligari players that there was no foul and then changed his mind a minute later. It was a daylight robbery in Rome Nikola kalinic scored the goal the argument was made that he pushed his Defender but it was a completely legal goal as they just happened to bump into each other in the box he didn’t initiate the contact which by all accounts means the goal should have stood. A very disappointing performance however with that being said VAR takes the three points that Roma deserved in a controversial draw.
